ABOUT THE FORUM
Soham Town Forum was set up in June 1998 and is still going strong. The idea was to give Soham residents an opportunity to learn about and discuss a whole range of issues and subjects involving the town and it's community.
Local resident Elizabeth Johnston is currently Chairman
Other officers are:
- Matthew Killick - Vice Chair
- Charles Warner - Secretary
- Michaela Parfitt - Treasurer
A representative of Soham Town Council attends every meeting, as do other Councillors. The Forum is set up as an open meeting, and a regular opportunity for any Soham resident to come along and discuss local matters with their Councillors and other interested parties. It's a real opportunity to make contact with others and get any views across to hopefully make a difference.
Meetings are held approximately every six weeks, in Hall 1 of the Pavilion, from 7.30pm on a Thursday. All are very welcome to attend.
The Forum also maintains an 'any other business' heading on the agenda, which allows for new items and issues to be raised by anyone present.
Residents wishing to attend for the first time will be assured of a friendly welcome and an interesting evening of debate and discussion.
